I don't know about you, but I get really mad when a shirt comes back from the dry cleaners with a broken or missing button. I remember the days before I started Champion Cleaners when I was traveling a lot. I'd get to my destination, open my suitcase and get a fresh shirt out, only to find a button was missing. I usually didn't carry an extra shirt so I was in trouble (which is why I carried a repair kit with extra buttons). So here's what I've done:

Don't get me wrong, we didn't set up this policy so that we could give away five-dollar bills--we set it up so that we would meticulously check your buttons to find the broken ones so we don't lose the five bucks.
We also change the pads on our presses frequently, which is the main reason that buttons come up broken or missing from the dry cleaners in the first place. It costs us more to constantly change the pads before the end of its life cycle, but we break and lose fewer buttons...and our pressing comes out better. YOU WIN!
