"I Love America" Celebration - Part 2 - in Vestavia Hills

The Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation will host part 2 of the Vestavia Hills "I Love America Summer Celebration" at Wald Park on Highway 31 in Vestavia Hills on Friday, August 13, 2010.

As with the hugely successful event on July 1, this community celebration and family party for everyone will include a number of concurrent events including:

• swimming from 6:30 to 7:30 pm 
• Childrens' activities coordinated by First Baptist Church of Birmingham from 6:30 to 7:45 PM.
• Business Expo supported by area businesses from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
• The Vestavia Hills High School Band will be performing beginning at 7:00 pm

The big event again is the movie starting at dusk...hey, it's an outdoor movie and somone has to turn out the lights first...and that should be about 8:00 pm.  Bring your lawn chair and enjoy Tooth Fairy starring Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd and Julie Andrews.  Read more about the Tooth Fairy here.

The I Love America Summer Celebration is a great event open to everyone in Vestavia Hills...and the entire Birmingham-Hoover metropolitan area.  There is no charge other than for any refreshments you might purchase.
