Vestavia Hills Soccer Club Hosts Soccer at Liberty Park

The Vestavia Hills Soccer Club is again hosting it's 2010 Liberty Park Cup Elite Challenge and Liberty Cup Soccerfest Tournaments at Liberty Park.

Select teams in age groups U13 to U19 will take the field during the Elite Challenge portion of the Tournament on August 13 to 15, 2010. This is a highly competitive tournament with the best teams from around the Southeast. Games will be played on high-quality fields fields at Liberty Park in Vestavia, and other fields in Homewood, Riverchase / Hoover, Mountain Brook and Trussville. In 2009, more than 85 teams competed in the Elite Challenge.
On September 3 to 5, 2010, the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club U10, U11 and U12 teams will host the 12th Annual Liberty Cup Soccerfest with all games played at Liberty Park Soccer Complex in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Multiple levels of play with be offered for each age bracket for both boys and girls. Teams from all over the Southeast will compete.
In prior years local terms from Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Homewood, Trussville and others competed with teams from other parts of Alabama, as well as Georgia, Tennessee, Louisianna and Mississippi participated. Each team will play at least three games during the first two days and semi-final and championship games on Sunday.
